Our department plans, designs and manufactures interior surface components using a variety of materials and finishes. Throughout the process we combine craftmanship with technology to exacting standards. It is our attention to detail that produces world class interiors. We are seeking one apprentice to join our team commencing end of August 2023.
What will you be doing?
Support of day-to-day manufacturing from a quality perspective.
Support the design, development and integration of new components and surface finishes.
Supporting the planning and introduction of exciting new projects to the business.
Learning various forms of data analysis for quality improvements.
Develop understanding of process improvement processes via structured problem-solving.
Develop an understanding of the design, ordering and validation of jigs and fixtures.
Learn to prepare and present reports to all levels of the business.
As a Rolls-Royce Quality Planning apprentice, you will gain a general appreciation of the procedures needed to meet high customer specification in terms of quality. You will undertake on-the-job training coupled with a fully funded Level 2 Lean Manufacturing course at Chichester College. There is the potential, subject to your performance, to progress to a Level 4 qualification in either Quality or Engineering.

What do you need to do now?
The next stage of the process is a Strengths Video Interview. You can complete this at any time of day during your three-day invitation window and will be recorded answering a set of questions. There is a practice question at the start and you get multiple chances to record each question, plus the GetMyFirstJob team are on hand to support you and give you lots of top tips and advice! Following this, successful applicants will be shortlisted and invited to a face-to-face Assessment Centre with BMW Group.
Assessment Centres for this role are provisioned to take place in the week commencing the 3rd of April.
