Property Insurance Advisor Apprenticeship

Job Description

As a Desk Based Property Insurance advisor you are our direct support to customers when handling home, SME and commercial claims. You will work alongside our experienced Advisors to gain experience and knowledge to support your career and apprenticeship in the following:

·Taking ownership and accountability for claims up to £50,000 that require review using evidence including video and photographs via our online portals

·Handling Claims from start to finish  

·Taking ownership of informal complaints on claims with your involvement and provide summaries) to enable complaint resolution  

·Supporting back office functions  

·Identifying optimum claims settlement solutions

·Compliance with business rules on but not limited to policy cover, indemnity, records management, reserving, diary management, activity process, repudiations, recovery, payments & GDPR

·Carrying out investigations and providing information relevant to possible recovery opportunities

·Maintaining relationships with Operational areas, aiding office based Home and Commercial claim handlers where required

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for insurance and customer service with a real desire to help others and a genuine interest in starting a career in the insurance industry.

This role will involve providing high levels of customer service whilst meeting business delivery demands therefore, we are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, is a great listener and is able to adapt their approach and most importantly be there to support our customers when they need us the most.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, good empathy skills, has great attention to detail and can use their own initiative and maintain focus when faced with high volumes of work, ensuring accuracy.

To be eligible to apply for this apprenticeship you will:

·Have an A*-C (9-4) GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, which you’ll need to be able to evidence. However, if you have extenuating circumstances please do get in touch.
