Job Description

Our apprenticeship programme enables you to work in a number of different departments before choosing an area in which to specialise and take further qualifications. This apprenticeship will equip you with the agility, growth mindset and commercial skills needed to succeed now and in the future.

Our customer-centric Asda Service Centre team is based across both Morley and our head office (Asda House) in Leeds City Centre.

The Asda Service Centre delivers customer support, manages colleague payroll, evolves how we work with data/ systems and oversees supplier management. Continuous innovation is our focus. We strive to offer new and improved services to both our internal and external customers.

You will complete a series of 3-4 rotations in the following teams:

  • Omnichannel Customer Support: This is the customer support function for the whole business where you will look after customer interactions received through our contact centres, online support requests, chatbots and social media.
  • Accounts Payable: You will be part of a team making sure we pay our suppliers the correct amount on time
  • Commercial Support: You’ll work closely with our commercial buying teams to ensure Asda is paid correctly and on time by our suppliers
  • Strategy, Engagement and Execution: You’ll be part of the team driving our transformation agenda, helping us to deliver a world class service centre with people and communication at the heart of everything we do.
