Job Description
Summary
Trainee Technician based on the front line, very much customer facing working on shop floor. Daily tasks can include, but are not limited to;
● Providing technical support to customers in shop mainly face to face.
● Log, analyse and fix support cases, escalate as required
● Provide technical recommendations to customer
● Keep customers updated on case status
● Build PC’s and configure other equipment and software
● Install PC’s and other equipment and software
● Provide user orientation training, Operating systems, office applications, smart phones
● Write and maintain documentation
Requirements and Prospectus
Desired Skills
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate a natural interest in IT and technology in general. This could be as an IT hobbyist at home building custom PCs, maintaining a home server and offering IT support to family and friends. You should also have some customer service experience.

Qualifications required
To be considered for this role, you must have a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least. You should have a GCSE, BTEC or A Level in ICT or at least hands-on experience with the workings of computers and IT.
Future prospects
The business has hired apprentice graduates in to full-time roles in the past.
